I couldn’t explain how I was different. I felt my body regain a distant memory, seizing a new but familiar freedom. I felt a power flowing between the limbs and suggesting ancient gestures and new awareness. I looked inside myself, finally. I saw a profile of a Queen surfacing on the water that mirrored me.

Ariel is a talisman that knows how to bring to the surface the Queen who lives inside every woman. Its shape encourages those who hold it to assume a regal posture.

A bubble of air and color that is the result of the sculpture and sanding of panels of colored methacrylate, glued and laminated on each other to form a single block. The mastery of Nando (one of the first craftsmen to work methacrylate to make objects of art) make them take that aerial, organic form. And only a delicate and careful final polishing reveals the surprising nuances, giving them to the light that activates and makes visible the transparencies.
